How can I kill the kraken?
1 of 7: I've found that the best way to handle this is to stand next to the basin with Physical Shield on (and possibly Slow Time, too) and hack a tentacle until it disappears.
2 of 7: Then just wait for another tentacle to come over and repeat the process on it.
3 of 7: Your mother should be standing out of range of the tentacles' slam attack, so you'll just need to worry about keeping your magic points up so your Physical Shield doesn't go off.
4 of 7: After all the tentacles go down, the head will come up and you'll need to switch to a bow or a magic spell like Fireball to attack it with.
5 of 7: Also, try to dodge its powerful energy blast, but don't do so at the expense of mom getting hit. (Remember to use Heal Life when necessary.)
6 of 7: After that, you have to do the tentacles one more time followed by the head again -- same tactics as before.
7 of 7: When that's finally over, run around the room to collect all the experience orbs that the kraken leaves behind.
