The terminal just says it's locked. How can I get anything from it?
1 of 4: Notice the reason it says it's locked.
2 of 4: It's because security is enabled.
3 of 4: Look to the left of the vault door (as you face it) to find a security terminal.
4 of 4: Use it to disengage the vault's security protocols, which will also unlock the desk terminal.
