Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Elite Riot Gear

  • 1 of 8: This unique medium armor has the following properties: damage threshold +22, Charisma +1, Guns +10, +5% critical chance.
  • 2 of 8: It's on a dead sniper called "NCR Riot Control" in the Third Street Municipal Building.
  • 3 of 8: After you blow up a path-blocking warhead and kill a few marked men on the "The Divide" quest's fifth objective, look SE of the marked men's building for some makeshift ramps you can use to get into the Third Street Municipal Building.
  • 4 of 8: Go to the other end of the floor to find a large pipe with a sewer grate you can use to enter the Municipal Sewers area.
  • 5 of 8: Go down to the end of the sewer pipe, then kill the two tunnelers in the area ahead.
  • 6 of 8: Go past them to find a destroyed eyebot with an upgrade circuit board on it, then go on past it to find a sewer grate that'll get you to another floor of the municipal building.
  • 7 of 8: Turn left past the grate to find the riot control guy with the Elite Riot Gear on him. (TIP: Go to the other end of the floor to find a Speech skill book underneath the physician's desk.)
  • 8 of 8: NOTE: This armor has the same DT rating as Honest Hearts' Desert Ranger Combat Armor, plus it has three extra effects that armor doesn't have. That makes it the new best medium armor in the game.
