Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Escape the Tunnelers' cave and reach the High Road.
1 of 8: Move along the wide, uneven rubble path until you come to a dead NCR soldier next to a large open container.
2 of 8: Loot his body and the nearby ammo box to get several flash bang grenades. They're useful against the powerful tunneler creatures that you'll be encountering soon.
3 of 8: Go along the rubble path to get to the other side of the large red container, then watch as a tunneler enters a hole in the ground. Move slowly toward the hole until the tunneler comes back out.
4 of 8: He's alone, so don't waste any flash bang grenades on him. Just help ED-E shoot him down. (Note that a powerful automatic weapon is very useful against tunnelers.)
5 of 8: As you move on down the rubble pathway, two tunnelers will crawl out of the hole ahead, and another one will come out of the hole you've already passed.
6 of 8: Past the second tunneler hole, turn left and go straight until you find a third tunneler hole just past the front end of a large wrecked truck.
7 of 8: Soon after you go past it, tunnelers will rise up from it and a couple of other holes that are ahead. You could try to fight them, but it's probably easier just to run for the exit.
