Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Optional: Disable Ulysses' Eyebots.
1 of 4: Right after the conversation with Ulysses is over, turn either left or right, then run along to where you can drop down to one of the lower side areas.
2 of 4: Use its Eyebot Control Console to shut down one of the eyebots using either the Science or Repair option. (Note that your skill level in whichever one you choose has to be 100.)
3 of 4: If both your Science and Repair skills are 100, you'll also be able to reconfigure the eyebot's targeting systems, which will cause it to attack Ulysses and the other eyebot.
4 of 4: If you also want the other eyebot shut down or reconfigured, you'll have to make the long run down to where you can use the stairs to get back to the main floor, then run all the way down to the other Eyebot Control Console.
