How can I talk Ulysses out of a fight?
1 of 7: Keep choosing the first dialogue option until you get a Speech 90 check.
2 of 7: If you were able to pass the faction rep check that came up right before the Speech 90 check did (rep of "liked" or better required), choose the Speech 90 option and then either the second or third option.
3 of 7: If you failed the faction rep check, choose the Speech 90 option, then the Speech 100 option. After that, choose the first option, then the second option three times in a row.
4 of 7: There are a couple of options that'll let you skip the Speech 90 check, but they'll only come up if you've done certain things in the past.
5 of 7: If you brought ED-E in with you, you can mention the messages on the eyebot. After that, choose the first option three times, then the second or third option.
6 of 7: If you've been listening to Ulysses' audio tapes that he left scattered about the region, you can say that his tapes prove he's walked the Mojave. After that, choose the first option, the second option twice, the third option twice, and then either the second or third option.
7 of 7: However you do it, talking Ulysses out of a fight will switch you over to the "Fight off the Marked Men" objective.
