Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Level-Up Perks
* Grunt (Level 8, Explosives 20, Guns 45): This perk is similar to the Cowboy perk in that it adds 25% to the damage you do with certain weapons. The weapon list for this perk is: combat knives, frag grenades, grenade launchers and rifles, service rifles, marksman and assault carbines, light machine guns, 9mm pistols and submachine guns, and the new .45 auto pistols and submachine guns. (The unique varieties of those weapon types also count.)
* Home on the Range (Level 8, Survival 70): With this perk, you can use campfires to rest as if they were beds. (Note that this won't get you the Well Rested XP bonus.)
* Sneering Imperialist (Level 8): This perk gives you a 15% damage bonus and a 25% V.A.T.S. to-hit bonus vs. fiends, Viper and Jackal gang members, and tribals (including Zion Canyon's tribals).
* Tribal Wisdom (Level 8, Survival 70): This perk reduces damage done to your limbs by animals and insects by 50%, adds 25% to your poison resistance, and allows you to eat insects while in Sneak mode.
* Fight the Power! (Level 10): This perk gives you a +2 to damage threshold and a +5% to critical chance vs. anyone who is wearing NCR, Caesar's Legion, or Brotherhood of Steel faction outfits.
* Eye For Eye (Level 20): This perk adds 10% to the damage you do with any weapon for each of your limbs that's crippled. If your head and both of your arms and legs are crippled, you'll be doing a huge +50% damage! However, don't forget all the disadvantages that go along with having crippled limbs, such as decreased speed and aim. It can also be difficult to purposely cripple each limb, especially if you've gotten any perks like Adamantium Skeleton that cause your limbs to take less damage.
