Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Gun Runners' Arsenal
of 10: This little add-on gives you a bunch of new weapons, ammo types, and mods.
of 10: On the game's launcher menu, select "Data Files" and make sure there's a checkmark in the box to the left of GunRunnersArsenal.esm.
of 10: You'll have to check the inventories of weapon merchants (especially the Gun Runners vendortron) to find all of this add-on's new items.
of 10: There are a lot of weapons that are identical to the original versions except with "(GRA)" added onto their names. There are a few tiny differences, like the GRA version of anti-material rifles requiring 10 more action points than the regular version, but nothing major.
of 10: There are also several special GRA weapons, most of which are unique versions of old weapons. Note that if the merchant who sells a unique GRA weapon got killed before you installed this add-on, you can probably find the weapon in the vendortron's store inventory at Gun Runners.
of 10: There are several new types of ammo that you can buy, and some that you can make at reloading benches if you have the Hand Loader or Vigilant Recycler perks. Some examples are: 12.7mm round (hand load), .50 MG explosive, 5mm JSP (hand load), and electron charge pack optimized.
of 10: There's also a bunch of new mods that will only work on non-unique GRA-brand weapons.
of 10: There's a new series of "mad bomber" explosives that you can make at workbenches that includes MFC grenades, nuka-grenades, tin grenades, fat mines, MFC clusters, and time bombs (high yield). Unfortunately, you have to take a new level-up perk named Mad Bomber to get their recipes. It requires you to be level 6+ with Repair 45+ and Explosives 45+.
of 10: There are also a bunch of new challenges. None of them yield a perk when completed, but several of them give 1000 XP. Most of them take the form of "kill a certain type of enemy with very specific weapons," such as killing deathclaws with .22 pistols, switchblades, boxing tape, recharger rifles, and dynamite. Or crippling Caesar's head with throwing spears. Pretty insane, huh?
of 10: Below is a cheat code list for getting all of the new weapons, mods, explosives, and ammo types, as well as the new perk.
