Search the Zion Ranger Station for a medical supply kit.
1 of 5: From the General Store, go a short way north down the path to reach the Zion Ranger Station.
2 of 5: Enter the station and kill off the bark scorpions, then check the back room.
3 of 5: You'll find a contaminated medical supply kit on a small round table. When you try to take it, you'll get several options for decontaminating it.
4 of 5: If your Medicine skill is 30+, you can salvage the kit without having to hunt up any items to fix it with.
5 of 5: Otherwise, choose to leave the medical kit alone (or pick it up without fixing it) to get several objectives that deal with the alternative ways of salvaging it.
