Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Search the ruins of the crashed scout bus for a compass.
1 of 7: Fast-travel to the Zion Valley Welcome Booth area, then head NW, watching for geckos and yao guai.
2 of 7: When you reach the drop-off that leads down to the crashed scout bus, go along the ridge until you reach a banana yucca plant.
3 of 7: Go past a second banana yucca plant to find a duffle bag on some rocks that you can use to drop down to the lower ground safely.
4 of 7: After shooting down any nearby vermin, go over to the bus wreck and look for a broken compass.
5 of 7: You'll find it next to a skeleton in the north half of the wreckage.
6 of 7: After you attempt to take it, you'll need to choose a method for fixing it. You can repair it right away without special parts if your Repair skill is 30+.
