Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Optional: Kill the Yao Guai at Pine Creek.
1 of 4: Cross the other nearby bridge, then go into Sneak mode.
2 of 4: Move slowly south until you reach the spot where the road turns east, then look for several yao guai on the road ahead.
3 of 4: Try to get in a good sneak-attack critical with a long-range weapon to start the combat, then bring out your best damage-dealing weapon to finish the yao guai off with as they come after you.
4 of 4: If you're fairly low-level, most or all of the yao guai will be cubs, and will be very easy to kill. If you're higher-level, you'll get regular yao guai and maybe even giant yao guai, which will be a lot more trouble.
