Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Find a way to unlock the door to the Survivalist's cache.
1 of 6: Go back to the ledge you killed a spore plant on, then look NW for another spore plant to kill off in the distance.
2 of 6: Drop down to the lower floor, then go over toward where that spore plant was to find a lantern hanging on a post.
3 of 6: Next to it is a rocky slope that you can go up to find an ammo box and a couple of loose items. (Watch out for a bear trap in the brush at the bottom of the slope.)
4 of 6: Go past the ammo box to find another slope that leads up to where the spore plant was.
5 of 6: Look for a nearby table with loot on it, but watch out for the bear traps that are hidden in the brush on either side of the table.
6 of 6: Just west of the table is a duffle bag with the key you need in it.
