Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Retrieve the paw from Ghost of She.
1 of 10: NOTE: Your new blurry red vision is a side effect of drinking the shaman's datura tea. It won't impede your vision much except when you turn quickly.
2 of 10: Exit the cave and fast-travel to the Caterpillar's Mound. If you didn't discover it earlier, travel to the Sorrows Camp and head south until you find it.
3 of 10: From there, follow the river's north bank east until you can turn left and approach the Vault 22 Dwellers' Guard Camp.
4 of 10: Check the camp for loot after killing off all the spore plants and carriers, then go west to discover the Ghost Den.
5 of 10: Move on past that to encounter several yao guai and a few random creatures (probably geckos).
6 of 10: When the path turns north, quicksave. Move slowly forward until you're temporarily blinded by a flash of light.
7 of 10: After your vision returns, you'll find the way back blocked by flames. Also, the huge, flaming yao guai called "The Ghost of She" will attack.
8 of 10: Use your most powerful up-close damage weapon (.45 auto submachine guns are good) to quickly blast the "ghost" until you get blinded by another flash of light.
9 of 10: The ghost will split up into three weaker ghosts that will all attack you at once. Shoot them down as fast as you can to end the combat.
10 of 10: Loot the one remaining "Ghost of She" body to get the creature's paw.
