Recruit Dean Domino.
1 of 3: Keep talking to Dean until you get the option to either have him join you or go to the fountain where you talked to Father Elijah.
2 of 3: TIPS: If you have Dean join you, now's a good time to go exploring in all those toxic cloud areas if you skipped them before. If you'd rather shortcut your way straight back to the Villa, drop carefully down to ground level through the big wall hole, then go down the passage to the NE and through a small toxic cloud. Past that, turn NW to find the gate that leads back to the entry area. (Note that it'll be open even if you didn't lockpick it earlier.)
3 of 3: WARNING: There'll be two new ghost guys nearby when you reenter the Villa, so be ready to fight them. Dean has an unlimited-ammo pistol, so you could let him shoot the ghosts down, with you providing the knife-slashing follow-up that'll keep 'em down.
