Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Search the basement of the Police Station for a way to free Dog from his cell.
1 of 5: After entering the basement, go down the stairs and enter the room beyond with a pistol drawn.
2 of 5: There's a collar-interferin' radio on the other side of the little mesh-covered window on the left that's near the table with a terminal on it. Run over and jump onto the table to the right of the terminal, then quickly shoot the radio through the meshy window to blow it up. You'll take a bit of damage, but it won't be much. (Note that you could just run through the room and turn the radio off when you reach it.)
3 of 5: Search the room for loot (including on top of the tallest crates), then move on to the next room. It has a few supplies in it, plus a door on the north wall that leads to another room to loot. (Note the Melee Weapons skill book on the floor.)
4 of 5: Go through the south door and along to reach another small room, then go through it to reach the final room.
5 of 5: Turn off the radio on the table if you didn't shoot it out earlier, then grab the holotape that's near it to finish this objective and get the next one.
