Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Ghost Combat Tips
1 of 5: There are going to be a lot more ghosts to fight, and they're going to be throwing explosive gas bombs at you in addition to spears and such.
2 of 5: Using the holorifle to snipe down ghosts with sneak attacks is the safest way to fight them, but it won't always slush one of their limbs, and Dog (if you have him with you) won't always run up to them and devour them.
3 of 5: The most reliable way to fight the ghosts is to use cover to dodge their projectiles until they get close, then use V.A.T.S. and your best melee or unarmed weapon to pound on them until you destroy one of their limbs.
4 of 5: Or you can let Dog (not God) kill a ghost person or two, then talk to him about devouring them in order to get the Ghost Hunter perk. That'll keep ghost people down no matter what, which will help a lot if you prefer to use sneaky long-range attacks on them.
5 of 5: If you ever have the situation where a ghost is throwing things at you from a higher level, try dodging under cover so it'll have to drop down to your level. If it won't, you can either try shooting it down or dodging its projectiles while moving on. (Or you can look around for a way to get to its floor so you can take it down in up-close combat.)
