Fallout: New Vegas Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Robo-Scorpion Combat Tips
1 of 7: Just crouching down near the hatch and waiting for your stealth indicator to return to "[HIDDEN]" won't work (you still won't be able to fast-travel), so reenter the antenna building.
2 of 7: There'll be a robo-scorpion nearby, so equip a weapon that does bonus damage against robots and use it.
3 of 7: The X-2 antenna is a great melee weapon for smashing robo-scorps, but watch out for their explode-on-death routine.
4 of 7: There'll be two more robo-scorps in the building, plus three more (and maybe some lobotomites) outside.
5 of 7: If the outside combat is too hard, you can go back into the building whenever you need a break. The lobotomites will follow you in, but the robo-scorps can't.
6 of 7: Or you could go through the door on the top floor to reach a balcony from which you can snipe at the robo-scorps on the ground. (Note that you'll first need to kill the robo-scorp that's on the balcony.)
7 of 7: If you kill off all of the outdoor enemies and still can't fast-travel, it'll be because you didn't kill the robo-scorp on the above-mentioned balcony. Either go get it or run north until you can fast-travel.
