Search Gabe's digging spots in the X-8 Residential Test Facility for the ....
1 of 7: The first thing to do is kill Gabe, the hostile cyber dog. (You can avoid killing him, but doing so isn't worth the trouble.)
2 of 7: After you do, his atomic core will start a short countdown to detonation.
3 of 7: You can survive it if you're far enough away from him when he blows, but it's best to return to the X-8 Central Facility area.
4 of 7: Use the test terminal to unlock the door again, then go through it and start searching for the audio sample you need.
5 of 7: Check the local area map to see that all of Gabe's digging spots are marked with quest arrows.
6 of 7: Which one has the audio sample in it is random, so check all of the grave-like digging spots until you find it.
7 of 7: NOTE: You'll have to fight some of Dr. Mobius' robo-scorpions on the way out of the X-8 building, plus several more (and maybe some cyber dogs) outside.
