Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Show Cachino these tapes from Clanden's safe, or confront Clanden with them.

  • 1 of 4: You can go back to Cachino and show him the tapes to get the "(Optional) Use the tapes to convince Clanden to betray the family" objective, or you can just go directly to Clanden with them.
  • 2 of 4: Tell Clanden that the authorities would like to hear his tapes, then decide whether to kill him or let him go.
  • 3 of 4: If you're wanting to kill him, wait (if necessary) until he's in his suite, then close the door. Pickpocket his .44 Magnum rounds and other weapons from him, then talk to him and say you can't give him the tapes since they're evidence of a crime. It should then be easy to kill him without turning anyone else hostile.
  • 4 of 4: If you'd rather skip the combat, tell him you'll keep the tapes to yourself if he'll leave. (If you can pass a Barter 50 check, you can also get 200 caps.)
