Where else can I get sniper rifles?
1 of 3: If your Lockpick skill is 75+, you can get one from a shelf past the locked door in the small booby-trapped building at secondary location c on the Zone 2 Map.
2 of 3: A better place to try is Camp McCarran (location 37 on the Zone 1 Map). Find the large mess tent that's along the west side of the tent area, then check the top bunk on its south side for a sniper rifle that's legal to take.
3 of 3: Or go to Hoover Dam (location 45 on the Zone 2 map) and get sniper rifles from the generic NCR troopers in the visitor center. Use the earlier stealing tips to either sneakily kill the troopers or pickpocket their sniper rifles. (Note that those troopers may or may not have sniper rifles, depending on your character's level.)
