Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Deal with an NCR Ranger who is camping in one of the bunkers of Hidden Valley.
1 of 6: Get your confiscated equipment from the nearby box and reequip yourself, then exit the bunker.
2 of 6: Follow your quest arrow to find the ranger that the elder wants you to get rid of.
3 of 6: When you talk to him, pass a Speech 30 check or just reassure him you're not a Powder Ganger.
4 of 6: Tell him he has to get out of there, then either pass a Speech 50 check to convince him to leave, or say "never mind." Do *not* tell him about the Brotherhood of Steel having a base nearby.
5 of 6: If you can't pass the Speech 50 check, exit conversation and enter the southern of the valley's four bunkers (if you're not already there).
6 of 6: Your only other option besides fighting and killing Dobson is to use his precious ham radio against him. Find it setting on a small metal crate next to two huge ones.
