(Optional) Return to Hardin with the lost patrols' mission discs.
1 of 2: Talk to Hardin again right after you get his first three optional objectives. Tell him about your new objectives from Elder McNamara to get this one.
2 of 2: When you return with all three mission holotapes, find Hardin in the level 2 bunker area and talk to him about them before talking to McNamara. (Note that Hardin is probably in the side area that's past the east door in McNamara's room.)
