Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Meet with a Brotherhood scout near the town of Nipton and collect his report.
1 of 3: This scout isn't actually very near Nipton. He's much closer to the Coyote Den (location 29 on the Zone 3 Map) and the Hidden Supply Cave (location 30).
2 of 3: Fast-travel to one of those if you can (or go on foot and discover it), then follow the quest arrow to find the scout up on the rocky terrain nearby.
3 of 3: Talk to him about McNamara sending you to get his report.
