Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Where all can I get Nuka-Cola Quartz?

  • 1 of 9: You can make it at campfires if you have the level 22 perk Nuka Chemist. Otherwise, you'll have to look for it in the few places where it's available non-randomly.
  • 2 of 9: In the Tops Casino's restaurant, there are five quartzes on a lower shelf in the locked kitchen, near the door.
  • 3 of 9: In the House Resort building at Camp Golf (location 27 on the Zone 2 Map), look on a lower shelf near the entrance to the kitchen (NW end of the ground floor) for five more quartz bottles.
  • 4 of 9: In the Big Horn Saloon in Boulder City (location 38), there are three quartzes next to three regular Nuka-Colas on a high-up shelf behind the bar counter. (Note that they're easy to steal, but you can buy them from Ike if you'd rather not lose karma.)
  • 5 of 9: In the barracks building at the Mojave Outpost (location 38 on the Zone 3 Map), there are two quartzes on the shelves behind the bar counter. (The G.E.C.K. program indicates there's a third quartz that's "initially disabled," but there's apparently no way to ever enable it.)
  • 6 of 9: On the ground floor of the REPCONN Headquarters building (location 32 on the Zone 2 map), there are two quartzes in the locked side room that's in the SE corner room (the gift shop). Note that opening the side room's door requires a Lockpick skill of 75+.
  • 7 of 9: In the Zapp's Neon Signs building in the South Vegas Ruins, there are two quartz bottles on some metal shelves in the southern upstairs office area.
  • 8 of 9: In Violet's trailer park (secondary location k on the Zone 1 Map), there's one quartz in a small crate on some metal shelves in Violet's "house" platform area.
  • 9 of 9: In the recreation area of Vault 3 (location 31), there's a quartz bottle among several other Nuka-Colas in the small crates on the metal shelves past the locked door in the NW corner of the large pool table room.
