Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Where all can I get C-4?
of 10: You can buy C-4 packs and detonators from some merchants, but it'll be *very* expensive. If you have lots of caps, talk to Mick in the Mick & Ralph's store in Freeside's first section. If you can pass a Speech 30 check to gain access to his special items, he'll have four C-4 packs in stock.
of 10: If you're level 8 or higher, try Chet in the Goodsprings general store (location 1 on the Zone 3 Map), Johnson Nash in Primm (location 20), Lacey in the Mojave Outpost barracks (location 38), Cliff Briscoe in the dinosaur gift shop in Novac (location 15 on the Zone 4 Map), and the arms merchant at the 188 Trading Post (location 36 on the Zone 2 Map). Whether or not they have C-4 and detonators in stock will be random.
of 10: You can also randomly find C-4 in crates of explosives. Look in the Ruby Hill Mine (location 4 on the Zone 1 Map) and Silver Peak Mine (location 9) to find lots of crates that might have C-4 in them.
of 10: You can get seven C-4 packs from the Camp Guardian Caves. See the "Saving Private Halford" undocumented quest.
of 10: Vault 19 (location 23 on the Zone 1 map) has four C-4 packs hidden in its various areas.
of 10: If your Lockpick skill is 75+, you can get three C-4 packs and a detonator from a briefcase that's on a table near the west end of the Lucky 38 Casino's cocktail lounge. (Note that the lounge becomes accessible after you talk to Mr. House for the first time.)
of 10: You can get three C-4 packs on Black Mountain by doing the "Tabitha's Treasure Hunt" undocumented quest.
of 10: There are three C-4 packs in the same room in Vault 34 that the unique Pulse Gun is in. Two of them are on a table next to the pulse gun's gun case, and the third one is on the floor next to a huge wooden crate just to the north. (There's also a detonator on the shelves along the south wall.)
of 10: You can get two C-4 packs and a detonator from the footlocker at Ranger Milo's checkpoint (secondary location n on the Zone 4 Map).
of 10: You can get one C-4 pack from the mad bomber guy while working on the first set of objectives for the "Birds of a Feather" NCR/Freeside faction quest.
