Fallout: New Vegas Hints
How can I help eradicate the virus?
1 of 6: The thing keeps jumping around the room's many terminals, and you need to find the three terminals it's on and isolate it on all three before it jumps again.
2 of 6: That means you'll be running frantically about the room accessing terminals right after Ibsen says "the virus just jumped." Thankfully, game time stands still while you're accessing a terminal.
3 of 6: On each terminal, choose "access datastore," then see if you get a "reload datastore" option or an "isolate virus" option. If it's "reload datastore," don't bother -- that terminal isn't affected.
4 of 6: Close the terminal and run to the nearest one you haven't tried yet. Hopefully, you'll be able to isolate the virus three times before it jumps again. If not, talk to Scribe Ibsen when you're ready to try again.
5 of 6: Unfortunately, that's *incredibly* hard to do since there are so many terminals and so little time, and which terminals the virus is on are randomly chosen. Even passing the Science 70 check when talking to Ibsen doesn't seem to help any.
6 of 6: One thing you could try is quicksaving right after a virus hunt starts. Run around and check terminals, remembering which ones have the virus on them. If you run out of time, quickrestore and check the terminals you didn't get to before. Once you know exactly which terminals the virus is on, quickrestore and run around to access them.
