Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Find a Broc Flower and a Xander Root.
1 of 7: You can find both of the plants you need nearby if you don't want to go to the trouble of finding the ones that Sunny tells you about.
2 of 7: If you'd rather go for the ones marked by quest arrows, check the world map to see where the quest arrows are pointing.
3 of 7: For the southern one, fast-travel back to Goodsprings, then find the school building at the SW end of town.
4 of 7: Kill off the giant mantis nymphs near the school if you didn't earlier, then look for two or three carrot-like plants just north of the school's southern door. (They're kind of hard to see next to a large tree stump.)
5 of 7: For the other plant, go to the NE part of town, then head up the easy-to-see trail that leads up onto the hill with a water tower on it.
6 of 7: You'll meet a bark scorpion on the way up, and there are several bloatflies to kill in the cemetery area.
7 of 7: The plant you want is next to a tree near the open grave that Victor dug you out of.
