Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Commands for Affecting Others

  • To do something to another person or item with the following commands, you must first select them so their internal codename appears up near the top of the screen.

    * disable - use on anyone or anything to make it disappear
    * enable - use to get back the last thing you disabled (if it's still selected -- if not, you can PRID its number if you remember it)
    * lock # - use on a door or container to lock it at lock level # (1 - 100)
    * unlock - use on a locked door or container to unlock it
    * kill - use on living NPCs and monsters to instantly kill them
    * resurrect - use on dead NPCs and monsters to bring them back to life at full health
    * moddisposition player # - adds # to the targeted NPC's disposition toward you

You can also use the "setav," "getav," and "modav" commands mentioned in the Editing Your Character section to affect others -- just don't put "player." on the front of the command. You'd rarely want to increase anyone else's attributes, but it might sometimes help to decrease them.
