Fallout: New Vegas Hints
(Optional) Bring ED-E to the Gibson Scrapyard in Novac.
1 of 4: Before you take ED-E anywhere, you'll need to fix him up to where he can move around on his own.
2 of 4: After he's fixed, choose the companion protocol dialogue option to get him to start following you. You can then take him to the Gibson Scrap Yard (location 10 on the Zone 4 Map).
3 of 4: Talk to Old Lady Gibson to get her to mention HELIOS One, which will trigger a recording in ED-E when the conversation ends.
4 of 4: NOTE: If you talked to Old Lady Gibson about everything before bringing ED-E to the scrapyard, you won't be able to get anything from her that'll trigger a recording. You'll have to work ahead on the next objective and talk to Ignacio Rivas about Archimedes.
