Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Get a replacement firing mechanism for the Legion's howitzer from the Boomers.

  • 1 of 4: To gain access to the Boomers' base, get their "Volare!" faction quest.
  • 2 of 4: Tell Pearl that you're looking for a howitzer firing mechanism.
  • 3 of 4: She won't be willing to give it to you at first, but you can ask her again after doing enough things on the above-mentioned quest to get your Boomers rep up to "accepted" or higher. She'll then give you permission to take the mechanism.
  • 4 of 4: That gets you the "Retrieve the firing mechanism from the Boomers' workshop" objective. Note that you can do that objective without officially getting it, but you'll get negative karma for stealing the mechanism.
