Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Negotiate for the release of the NCR hostages.

  • 1 of 5: All you have to do for the main quests is ask Jessup where the platinum chip is. You can then just leave and get going on the "Ring-a-Ding-Ding!" quest.
  • 2 of 5: To complete negotiations, you'll need to convince either Jessup or Monroe to resolve things peacefully.
  • 3 of 5: To convince Jessup, talk to him about settling things between him and the NCR, then pass a Speech 45 check.
  • 4 of 5: To convince Monroe, talk to Jessup about settling things with the NCR, then say you're willing to hear other suggestions. That'll get you the "(Optional) Bribe the NCR troopers into letting the Great Khans escape" objective.
  • 5 of 5: If you can't manage either one of those options, come back sometime later when you can.
