Release Notes

  • This is the fourth and final release of the Fallout: New Vegas hint file. It mainly has a few corrections and updates to finish things up so I can move on to the next great Bethesda RPG: Skyrim!

    The third release (5/14/2011) added the following things:

    * list of all rentable beds in the Exploration Tips
    * new question about maximum DT
    * complete location lists for all three types of crafting devices
    * lists of all merchants and repair guys
    * new undocumented quests for hunting all four legendary creatures (one in each zone)
    * way to help Silus escape in the Zone 1 undocumented quest "Interrogator Wanted"
    * new Zone 2 undocumented quest: "The Secret of Vault 11"
    * new Zone 4 undocumented quest: "Tabitha's Treasure Hunt"
    * info on smuggling a silenced weapon into the Fort and taking out the weapon confiscation guys in the "Render Unto Caesar" main quest
    * complete list of Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle caps in the "The Legend of the Star" misc. quest
    * many other minor updates and tips to various quests

    The second release (2/20/2011) added hints for all non-main quests and undocumented quests, plus some updated general tips and expanded reference lists.

    The original release (11/24/2010) included complete maps and main quest hints, complete hints for several non-main quests, info on how to get all non-main quests, and a lot of general tips.
