Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Negotiate with Cass to buy out Cassidy Caravans for the Crimson Caravan ....
1 of 7: Go to the Mojave Outpost (location 38 on the Zone 3 Map) and find Cass in the barracks.
2 of 7: Talk to her about the Crimson Caravan Company wanting to buy out her caravan.
3 of 7: She's reluctant to sell, so keep talking to her until you get some options.
4 of 7: To get her to sell, you'll have to pass a Barter 50 check, a Barter 75 check, a Speech 50 check, or a Speech 75 check.
5 of 7: To get the Barter 50 check, you'll need to have at least 750 caps on you, though you won't have to hand them over. With the Barter 75 check, you'll have to get 12 bottles of whiskey and talk to Cass about her drinking challenge. (Note that you can both buy and steal whiskey there in the barracks.)
6 of 7: If you use the Speech 50 check, you'll have to do the Ranger Jackson objectives on the "Heartache by the Number" quest before Cass will sell. The Speech 75 check will get her to sell right away.
7 of 7: After getting her to sell, you can ask what she'll do now to turn her into a follower.
