Fallout: New Vegas Hints

ED-E appears to have some Enclave log data stored that is triggered by ....

  • 1 of 7: You don't yet know what other keywords will trigger ED-E's recordings, so follow up on your only current lead and go to HELIOS One (location 9 on the Zone 4 Map).
  • 2 of 7: NOTE: Five or more game days will have to pass before you can trigger another recording, so you may want to do other things for five days before going to HELIOS One.
  • 3 of 7: To gain entrance to the HELIOS One building without turning the NCR troops hostile, either get the "That Lucky Old Sun" NCR/Followers of the Apocalypse faction quest or sneakily pick open the side door that's to the right.
  • 4 of 7: Make your way to the NW section of the building to find a guy named Ignacio Rivas.
  • 5 of 7: Ask him what more there is to the place than a power plant, then choose all of the dialogue options about Archimedes. Another of ED-E's recordings will trigger when your conversation ends.
  • 6 of 7: NOTE: If you got ED-E's first recording by talking to Rivas, talking to him about all the Archimedes options again will probably trigger the second recording. If not, try talking to Dr. Henry in the lodge in Jacobstown (location 1 on the Zone 1 Map), Michael Angelo in his workshop in the New Vegas Strip's southern section, or Thomas Hildern in the huge terminal building at Camp McCarran (location 37). Another option is to gain access to the Brotherhood of Steel bunker (see their "Still in the Dark" faction quest) and talk to Apprentice Watkins on level 2.
  • 7 of 7: After two more days pass, a Brotherhood of Steel guy will transmit a message to you through ED-E that'll give you the next objective.
