1 of 4: As with the mantis eggs, you can get 12 loose fire gecko eggs from fire geckos, or you can go for the nest.
2 of 4: The nest is in Bootjack Cavern (secondary location q on the Zone 4 Map). The best way to get there is to go to the Clark Field (location 19) and head SE.
3 of 4: Inside the cavern, fight your way to the first large cave room, then take the west passage.
4 of 4: In the southern room, you'll find a large pile of eggs that you can take some fire gecko eggs from.
