Buying Your Way Into Their Hearts
1 of 4: If you have plenty of caps, you can actually buy yourself some fame (or erase some infamy) with the Freeside faction.
2 of 4: Go to the Atomic Wrangler in Freeside's second section and talk to James Garret about needing some help with your reputation in Freeside.
3 of 4: You can then choose whether to decrease your infamy or increase your fame. Note that what options you get will depend on your current fame and infamy levels.
4 of 4: I was never able to get any options for decreasing infamy, so I don't know how that works. For fame increasing, you'll usually get the option to spend 250, 500, or 1000 caps to get a small, big, or really big fame increase.
