Fallout: New Vegas Hints
LILY: Taking Your Medicine
1 of 7: After getting Lily to become a follower (see the "Guess Who I Saw Today" quest), you'll notice that in some combats she'll fall too quickly or suffer a psychotic break.
2 of 7: After a combat in which she does one of those two things, talk to her and ask what happened in that fight back there.
3 of 7: You'll learn that some "invisible fiend" of hers named Leo is responsible for the problem, and that she doesn't always take the medicine that suppresses the problem.
4 of 7: At some point later on, a new question about what kind of medicine she's taking will appear in the "tell me about yourself" question list. Keep checking it every now and then.
5 of 7: After you ask her about the medicine, wait one hour using the game's Wait feature to get her to play an old holotape of her grandchildren. After it's over, ask her about it.
6 of 7: You'll then be able to talk to her about her medication and choose how often she should take it.
7 of 7: If you have her take it every time, she'll stop suffering psychotic breaks, but won't be as powerful in combat anymore. If you have her stop taking the medicine altogether, she'll often have psychotic breaks in combat when her health reaches one-half of max. The "middle of the road" option is to have her take the medicine every other time, which can cause psychotic breaks when her health reaches one-fourth of max.
