Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Go with Boone to Coyote Tail Ridge.
1 of 3: TIP: Before you go to the ridge, set clusters of mines in the area between the camp's south entrance and the Bitter Springs Recreation Area (location 18 on the Zone 2 Map). Make sure that the mines nearest the camp aren't close enough that a patrolling NCR trooper will stumble into them and get blown up. It would also help to mine the narrow entrance that's on the west side of the camp.
2 of 3: Head south out of the camp and around to the west, following the quest arrow to Coyote Tail Ridge (location 19).
3 of 3: When you get there, Boone will talk to you about his part of the massacre. He'll then ask you to stay the night there with him. which you should agree to do.
