(Optional) Convince Chet to open his store's stock to the town.
1 of 2: Go to the general store and see if there's anything in Chet's inventory that you want to buy for the battle ahead.
2 of 2: Tell him that you need supplies to fight the Powder Gangers, then pass a Barter 25 check or pay him 1000 caps to get him to agree. Note that he'll give you leather armor, which is good to wear for the gunfight if you don't have anything better.
