(Optional) Shake down Chet for supplies.
1 of 2: Go to the general store and see if there's anything in Chet's inventory that you want to buy for the battle ahead.
2 of 2: Tell him that the Powder Gangers need him to donate some supplies, then pass a Speech 25 or Barter 25 check to get him to agree. That'll get you some ammo, leather armor, and Powder Gangers fame.
