1 of 2: Talk to Doc Mitchell in his house about an injured man who's supposedly dying on the road, then pass a Medicine 25 check to get his spare medical supplies.
2 of 2: As an alternative, you could pickpocket the spare medical supplies, or even kill Doc Mitchell to get them (and to keep him from participating in the gunfight).
