Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Heck Gunderson is looking for his disappeared son. Talk to Walter Phebus ....

1 of 4: Find Walter wandering around outside, then talk to him about your deal and say that Ted Gunderson's disappeared.
2 of 4: If you don't want to end the quest now by doing the "(Optional) Ethel Phebus wants her husband, Walter, to forget about Heck ..." objective, say that Heck is barely protected, then talk prices.
3 of 4: If you say you'll take care of them, you'll get the "Take care of both Heck, and Ted Gunderson, for Walter Phebus" objective. If you attempt the Barter 90 check, you'll get the "Take care of Heck Gunderson for Walter Phebus" objective, whether you pass the check or not. The Barter 80 check will get you the "Take care of Ted Gunderson for Walter Phebus" objective. (Note that failing a Barter check cuts your pay in half.)
4 of 4: TIP: It's easy enough to get both Ted and Heck Gunderson killed, and that gets you 1500 caps without any Barter checks.
