Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Kill Driver Nephi and acquire his head - preferably intact.

  • 1 of 4: Do the "(Optional) Enlist the help of Lieutenant Gorobets and his First Recon ..." objective, then follow the First Recon guys along until they take up positions at the Samson Rock Crushing Plant.
  • 2 of 4: Checking the Zone 1 Map, you'll see that Driver Nephi and his fiend followers (secondary location p) are a bit NW of the rock crushing plant (location 30).
  • 3 of 4: Since the First Recon guys are hanging back to act as snipers, you'll need to sneak your way NW and do some sniping of your own to lure the fiends into the First Recon's range.
  • 4 of 4: You should quicksave before you start shooting fiends, just in case Driver Nephi's head gets mangled in the ensuing firefight. If it does, you'll probably want to quickrestore and try again. (Note that it you don't know where Nephi's body is, you can follow the quest arrow to it.)
