Ranger Morales' Fate
1 of 10: Go to Camp McCarran (location 37 on the Zone 1 Map) and enter the huge terminal building. At the south end of its upper floor, go through one of the doors that leads to the concourse area, then look for Pvt. Christina Morales sitting next to the slot machines on the left.
2 of 10: Talk to her about her husband, then agree to retrieve his body for a proper burial. (If you want to get some caps for your efforts and don't mind a bit of bad karma, choose the dialogue option that ends with "it'll cost you.")
3 of 10: There's now a map marker labeled "Ranger Morales' Corpse" just east of the REPCONN Headquarters building (location 32 on the Zone 2 Map). However, if you go there, the fiends will probably spot you and start shooting you right away with incredible long-distance accuracy.
4 of 10: Instead, go to the Grub n' Gulp Rest Stop (location 29) and head south down the road to an underpass. Go through the underpass, then sneak your way south to a wall that has "the sun is killing me" spray-painted onto it.
5 of 10: Turn right while facing the wall and sneak your way along until you can turn left. Sneak along next to the short wall until you reach a narrow alley.
6 of 10: Look down the alley to see if you can snipe a fiend on the roof of a distant building. Hopefully, you brought a scoped weapon to make long-distance sniping easier.
7 of 10: Move slowly down the alley, looking for a tripwire near its other end. Disarm the tripwire, then use the alley as cover while peeking out to snipe at other rooftop fiends. (Note that two of them are on the rooftops of the buildings that the alley runs between.)
8 of 10: After they're all dead, look around the area to find two dead rangers to loot, plus some bear traps and a rigged shotgun to avoid or disarm. When you're ready to go, pick up Ranger Morales' body with the Grab key.
9 of 10: Slowly carry it NW across the train tracks and to the spot on the road where a small NCR checkpoint has been set up. When you get a message about a "corpse retrieved" note being added, drop the body.
10 of 10: Return to Camp McCarran and tell Pvt. Morales the good news. If you asked for payment before, she'll give you 50 caps. In any case, Dr. Kemp in the southern section of the concourse will give you a discount at his store.
