Fixing a Generator and a Mole Rat
1 of 4: Go to Sloan (location 6 on the Zone 3 Map) and find the generator that's a bit to the left of the mining office shack's door.
2 of 4: If your Repair skill is 35+, you can properly assemble the generator to get 25 XP. Otherwise, your only option is to strip it for spare parts, which gets you five portions of scrap metal, one conductor, and one sensor module.
3 of 4: Look around for a friendly mole rat named Snuffles. Talk to it and mention its injured leg, then pass a Medicine 30 check if you can to heal it.
4 of 4: If you repaired the generator, find Chomps Lewis on the road and tell him about it to get some NCR fame and money. If you helped Snuffles, tell him that to get some more NCR fame.
