Alleged Damsel in Distress
1 of 7: Go to the Goodsprings Source (location 13 on the Zone 3 Map) and find Barton Thorn near the old trailer.
2 of 7: Agree to help save his girl, then go SW from the trailer to the broken radio tower.
3 of 7: Go SW past it and shoot down a few young geckos, then turn NW and move slowly up the path.
4 of 7: There are a bunch of young geckos ahead and in a side area on your right that are likely to see you all at once. Use the retreat-and-fire strategy to kill as many of them as you can before they reach you.
5 of 7: Go to the end of the trail to make sure you got them all, then turn around and go back down to meet up with Barton.
6 of 7: He'll admit he tricked you into clearing out the geckos for him, and will then turn hostile.
7 of 7: Kill and loot him, then find the steep side path that leads up to an old prospector's camp with some loot in it. Watch out for two set bear traps!
