Fallout: New Vegas Hints

Missing: One Laser Pistol

  • 1 of 9: To gain free access to the Brotherhood of Steel's bunker, do the first three objectives of their "Still in the Dark" faction quest.
  • 2 of 9: On the west side of level 1 is a fortified area where Knight Torres runs her weapon store. Ask her if there's anything you can help with, then volunteer to look for the missing laser pistol.
  • 3 of 9: Leave Torres' room and talk to the Brotherhood knight who's sitting at the table next to the firing range.
  • 4 of 9: Ask him about the missing weapon to learn that Initiate Stanton checked it out, and supposedly checked it back in later.
  • 5 of 9: Look around for Initiate Stanton. He's probably in the level 1 bunker area, so search it until you find him. (He may be in the school room on the south side of the level, or wandering around in the under-the-floor areas.)
  • 6 of 9: Talk to Stanton to learn the truth behind the missing laser pistol, then agree to go get it and turn it in for him.
  • 7 of 9: Leave the bunker and go to Scorpion Gulch (location 8 on the Zone 4 Map), but be warned that there are several giant radscorpions there in addition to all the little bark scorpions.
  • 8 of 9: Just east of the fast-travel point is a large rock with the missing laser pistol on top of it. Another way to identify the rock is by the dead wastelander who's on the ground next to it.
  • 9 of 9: Return to the bunker and give the missing laser pistol to Torres to get 100 XP, a tri-beam laser rifle, and some Brotherhood of Steel fame.
