Legion Ear Collector

  • 1 of 5: Go to Camp Forlorn Hope (location 12 on the Zone 4 Map) and find Private Sexton, who's usually in the Camp Forlorn Hope Barracks shack.
  • 2 of 5: Talk to him about morale until he tells you about his "killer" competition.
  • 3 of 5: You can now gather ears from Legion soldiers you kill (and some you find already dead) and give them to Sexton to get ... absolutely nothing!
  • 4 of 5: Actually, each ear you turn in raises camp morale by a small amount, which is useful for the "Restoring Hope" quest. Also, after you turn in 30 ears, you'll get 100 caps, 6 beers, 300 XP, and some NCR fame.
  • 5 of 5: As for where to find them, you can get five ears from Legion soldiers that are already dead. For the rest, use the Stealing Tips to kill off generic soldiers in various Legion camps sneakily so you don't turn everyone hostile or gain any Legion infamy.
