Perks
Choose your perks wisely. You only get one every 3 levels and there are many to choose from. Some of them are probably not very wise choices and some perks are extremely valuable. Snakeeater is not very helpful, but Bonus Rate Of Fire can mean the difference between shooting once per turn and twice per turn.
One quick note: I suppose this is a bug in the game, but here it is anyway. Many perks have certain prerequisites (i.e., you have to have a certain Strength level or Intelligence level). As discussed in the Attributes section, unlike skills, attributes are very difficult to change. However, now through the magic of drugs, you can temporarily raise any of your attributes except Luck (sorry!). And apparently, your temporarily boosted attributes count to fulfill the perk prerequisites. This essentially means that with drugs you can qualify for any perk if you meet the level, skill, and Luck prerequisites.
