How do I rescue the prisoner?

  • 1 of 14: Do you know who the prisoner is? If not, find out first.
  • 2 of 14: There are two ways to rescue her. Which one you use depends on your particular character's strengths and weaknesses.
  • 3 of 14: You can use brute force.
  • 4 of 14: Or persuasion.
  • 5 of 14: A strong character can just go in and kill everyone, pick the lock on the cell door, and walk out.
  • 6 of 14: Of course, there are a LOT of bad guys.
  • 7 of 14: But this is also the only way you can get all of their equipment.
  • 8 of 14: Having some more people on your side could be useful.
  • 9 of 14: Actually, you can pick the lock first and escape without having to kill everyone in the camp.
  • 10 of 14: A character with high Speech skills and Charisma has several other options.
  • 11 of 14: You can talk to their leader, Garl, and trade some items for Tandi.
  • 12 of 14: You can talk to Garl and challenge him to a one-on-one unarmed fight for Tandi.
  • 13 of 14: If you're really good with Speech skill, you can convince him to give Tandi to you for nothing at all.
  • 14 of 14: One final option is to go into camp wearing a leather jacket. Garl will think you are the ghost of his father and you can tell him to let Tandi go.
